Active Periodic Cooling (First in the market)
Most birds leave the nest, at least once, during incubation. During this time, the eggs cool down and release moisture. Active Periodic Cooling (APC) changes the temperature and humidity within the incubator to reenact the cooling and dehumidifying process that eggs would receive naturally from the mother bird leaving the nest. This unique addition to our incubators increases hatch rates. This is extremely important if you hatch goose eggs!
Egg Turners: Conturn TM 30
Reduce stress on your eggs with vibration-free egg turners. These calibrated turners ensure high hatch rates and use minimal energy - saving you money!
Ventilation: AirRoute TM
Our AirRoute TM ventilation system is IP55 certified and uses minimal energy. The system protects you from voltage changes and offers a first in class protection from dust and humidity. You can rest assure that your system will maintain the same temperature and humidity throughout the whole cabinet.
Humidity: Humisonic TM
CT incubators always keep the internal temperature and humidity to your set parameters. Our HumisonicTM System provides humidity to the incubator when necessary. Just add water to the tank up top! Also, don't forget to fill your bottom pan with water for additional support - as needed.
Alarm(s)
CT incubators offer 2 alarms:
- High / Low Temperature Alarm (Plus room sensor)
- High / Low Humidity Alarm (Plus room sensor)
Front & Back Access

This is by far, hands down, the best incubator I have ever used. It is so simple to operate. Even though we had a bad plug for the turner (not the fault of hatching time as these things sometimes happen). We simply called HatchingTime and they promptly shipped out a replacement. The eggs sat in the incubator for 24 hours without turning and I still got almost 100% hatch rate! Even the clean up after the hatch was simple and easy. My only suggestions would be to make the windows larger as you can only see the top or bottom turners/hatching baskets. Not a deal breaking in purchasing again, but would be nice to see more of what's going on in there. Two other items I would add if I was designing this is, I would make it WiFi compatable so I could see the temperature and humidity while away from the house, and I would make a camera add on for inside to be able to watch the hatching process so you didnt have to open the incubator before the hatch was complete. Again, not a deal breaker, just some improvements I'd like to see or at least options to add on would be nice.

I recently ordered and started using the CT120 and I am floored by the results. I’ve had fantastic hatch rates and it’s so easy and simple to use. I’ve had many other smaller incubators in the past (nurture right 360, brinsea, etc) but this one is in a different stratosphere for sure. I’ve hatched chickens, ducks, and quail so far. My only “wish” for future development is a rail similar to the quail rails for bantam and regular chicken eggs. I have bantam Cochins and I can fit 6-7 per row, but I almost always have a little extra space which causes the eggs to flop around in the tray. Same with larger chicken eggs—there is just a tiny bit of extra space which leaves just enough room for the eggs to move. Otherwise I have zero complaints!

Bought this incubator purely off of researching reviews, features, capacity and bang for buck. I’ve hatched out several hundred quail in a months time. Features alone are wonderful it’s basically a set and forget. The water resavoir combined with humidity controls are outstanding. The box being insulated and the controls keeps everything precise. Cleanup is easy with the back door. Only drawback I had was not with the incubator itself but the quail rail accessories. They work fine for bobwhite but are kinda small for coturnix. I’m already about to upgrade to the 350 simply for more capacity. Definitely sold on hatching time
Thank you for the review, Kaleb. We think the features on our incubators are wonderful too - The Hatching Time Team
