from 3684 reviewsI love my Brooder. It was easy to set up and it is 100% more efficient and easier to clean water and feed my new baby chicks
We purchased 2, four tier layer cages, two 4 tier grow out pens, one 4 tier brooder. Terry from coturnix corner suggested switching out the watering cups for the layer cages and we did that. One of the issues that they have had in the past is that debris gets stuck inside the waters and causes them to leak or stop working. We notice that there’s a lot of fine shavings where they drill the holes into the watering bar so we went through the trouble to clean those holes out with tweezers and then blew them out with an air compressor. Maybe hatching time can make more of an effort to remove the debris from drilling the holes. Hopefully this eliminates potential problems down the road. The cages are time-consuming and at times frustrating to assemble but once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly. Our chicks are supposed to hatch within the next few days so we will be able to put the cages to the test and see how things work out. We also bought the CT 120 SH Incubator and a quail plucker. The incubator seems to be working fine and the plucker, obviously we haven’t had a chance to use yet. I did compare these hatching time cages to the cages at Wynola ranch and for the money. I think the Hatching Time cages are a better bet if you’re purchasing cages. Time will tell though. I may try building some in the future since they are not inexpensive.
Just got my incubator going with a few chicken eggs to tryout waiting for my pheasants to start laying and call ducks to lay
I’m so happy that I decided to go with hatching time setup for my first quilt setup. Everything was designed to work perfectly with raising quails. I called in to ask questions and the team was super informative and patient with me. Shipping was great and processed quickly. Thank you Hatching Time! Keep up the great work!
I'm absolutely in love with my cabinet incubator! High hatch rates, automatic turning, consistent temperature and minimal electrical impact on my power bill--win win situation! I won't go back to smaller machines even for smaller hatches. Definitely would recommend. We are now saving up for the brooder system that also looks amazing!
I bought the 16” heater cable for my 5 gallon outside waterer, in the chicken run. It worked great until we started having overnight temperatures around 21’ or lower. Overall I was satisfied with the results.
I have the CT180 incubator and the 3 tier Brooder system. I love the ease and ability to use them both for hatching large numbers of chicks. Temps stay accurate and brooder has made a game changer out of handling chicks. The investment is well worth it if you are in for the best quality and customer service.
Works well. Holds temperature consistently. I used a sponge to hold humidity during lockdown so I can't say if it will hold on its own. I'll most likely purchase another one
I own two of the ct60 incubators. By far they are the most accurate and easy incubators to use. Only downside I have found is I wish they would come out with a see thru door for the front so you can see inside the incubator without opening because the peep window is useless. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to hatch!!!
I didn’t think I’d use it much, but knowing exactly what day I was on made planning lockdown easier.
Once set, the temperature and humidity remained consistent throughout the full incubation period. That stability gave me confidence.
I mix it into daily feed and have seen better mobility across all ages of birds. The chickens seem livelier overall.
Natural ingredients and easy application. Reliable product.
