I had gotten my double layer HT brooder as a gift from my fiancé, and within a year one of the heaters let go. They sent me a replacement fast lady spring.. a few days ago I smelled burning near the brooder and now once again one of the heaters has stopped working. We took apart the first one and the heating component actually melted the fuse, same exact thing happened Ed to this one! Very unhappy as I refuse to spend $130 on another one when they seem to only last a year.
I am a small West Texas Quail farmer, I have nothing but hatching Time products. I have a ct60 incubator I have 4 hatching time brooters, I have 5 grow outs cages , I have 25/ five layer finishing cages. I have plans developing to buy double that in the future. Currently I only have watering issues, and I believe hatching time has taken steps to correct these issues. I like these cages and setups because they are very quick and convenient for me to add on to what I have as well as very easy to clean. Thank you very much for your product.
I received my CT180 SH incubator and it had a crack in the monitor. Most likely from shipping and handling. I reached out to customer service and they compensated me a $25 gift card to their website. It seems to be working just fine. Customer service was a bit slow. I’m guessing they do not work on weekends since I reached out Friday got one response and then another on Monday. This is my 2nd cabinet incubator from them and have never had any issues with hatching or equipment failure on the incubators.
So before I bought the cage, I read lots of reviews about how difficult they were to put together. Me, being not very good at building, was initially worried that I would have trouble putting the cage together. Honestly, I put the thing together in probably about 10 minutes. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone could possibly have trouble putting the cage together! So, being easy to put together is really a plus for me. I also love how everything is self-contained. I just check the water level and food level, pick up the eggs, and don't disturb the birds. This is an awesome cage! As I expand my operation, you can bet that I will be buying more!
What a great investment! definitely takes time to build, but well worth it. Ordered it and received it in less then 24hrs. Our little chicks are loving life! Cleaning is a breeze, takens alot less time to clean the mess. Looking forward to growing my dream family owned farm and hatchery. We will definitely be making more purchases from this company!
This is by far, hands down, the best incubator I have ever used. It is so simple to operate. Even though we had a bad plug for the turner (not the fault of hatching time as these things sometimes happen). We simply called HatchingTime and they promptly shipped out a replacement. The eggs sat in the incubator for 24 hours without turning and I still got almost 100% hatch rate! Even the clean up after the hatch was simple and easy. My only suggestions would be to make the windows larger as you can only see the top or bottom turners/hatching baskets. Not a deal breaking in purchasing again, but would be nice to see more of what's going on in there. Two other items I would add if I was designing this is, I would make it WiFi compatable so I could see the temperature and humidity while away from the house, and I would make a camera add on for inside to be able to watch the hatching process so you didnt have to open the incubator before the hatch was complete. Again, not a deal breaker, just some improvements I'd like to see or at least options to add on would be nice.
Great kit. Super customer assistant.
Will buy from here again.
It does all perfectly
Before I ordered I called to make sure this CT-180 was the right incubator for us. The lady I talked to was super friendly and knowledgeable. I placed my order on the w phone with her, and it arrived 2-3 days later! Everything was in perfect condition, assembly was very easy, and it got up to temp quickly. We did need to go to the grocery store to get distilled water for the humidifier. Since we set eggs it has been holding temp and humidity perfect. Will move eggs on day 18 to a hatching box, and reload with another 180 eggs to get them cooking. This will really increase our efficiency during hatching season. Looking forward to adding another one of these next year. Thanks Hatching Time!!
If enough people reach out and ask for a YouTube review I’d be happy to do one on this product.
Easy access egg rollout and the new removable dividers make these a perfect option for those unable to build their own. Thanks HT
I initially planned to build my own breeding quail cages but then after some extensive research I decided to try these out. They were shipped out promptly and delivered in excellent condition. The instructions were clear and the youtube video they provide to build the cages was excellent and clear. I must say that there was a-lot of thought put into designing these cages because they are amazing. Feeding trays reduce alot of waste, the watering system is flawless and working as intended. The quail seem to be very happy. I would recommend getting the flooring swapped out to the Jumbo egg roller floor if you plan on having jumbo meat variety coturnix quail. The material the cages is made out of makes it very easy to clean and the **** essentially falls off the cages with ease. I am very happy with these cages and plan to buy more.
I went from spending 2-3 times a day (which amounted to about 2 hours of time) changing my quails water and feed as well as cleaning their pine shaving bedding to just spending 15 minutes a day for my quail. The feeding tray saves a-lot of feed and minimizes waste. The watering system is hygienic and has not leaked. I had one defective drinking water cup and I emailed the. The promptly shipped me a new one free of charge. I am very happy with their quality product and amazing customer service.
I recently ordered and started using the CT120 and I am floored by the results. I’ve had fantastic hatch rates and it’s so easy and simple to use. I’ve had many other smaller incubators in the past (nurture right 360, brinsea, etc) but this one is in a different stratosphere for sure. I’ve hatched chickens, ducks, and quail so far. My only “wish” for future development is a rail similar to the quail rails for bantam and regular chicken eggs. I have bantam Cochins and I can fit 6-7 per row, but I almost always have a little extra space which causes the eggs to flop around in the tray. Same with larger chicken eggs—there is just a tiny bit of extra space which leaves just enough room for the eggs to move. Otherwise I have zero complaints!
The brooder is awesome haven’t have them long enough to review the grow out pens but the brooder performed amazing I do use an incbird thermostats on it so the light turns off and on but I like the digital temp so I can see temp at a glance
I purchased this brooder addition for quail. I am currently starting some bantam chicks in it and so far, I am blown away. The unit is easy to clean, makes feeding/watering a breeze, and really simplifies the process. It was a bit challenging to build, but after building the quail cage, I had a pretty good idea of what needed to go where. My only “complaint” or wish for future designs is some sort of guard to keep the chicks from walking in the feed tray. Mine think that’s a great place to sit and hang out. Otherwise, no complaints!
