CT180 SH - Egg Incubator - Setter & Hatcher

I have been using the CT180 for the past 2 seasons and I have hatched out between 400-500 chicks. I have have great success with this incubator. The settings have been spot on. It keeps the humidity exactly where I set it even when the humidity is higher in my incubator room. The standard egg turners that comes with it have been great. I have used them to incubate standard size chickens, bantams, quail and turkeys with great success. The only complaint I have is that the hatching baskets could use a little more texture on the bottom so the chicks don't get splay leg but paper towels or shelf liner takes care of that. I would recommend this incubator to anyone looking for a quality incubator. It is easy to clean and I really like the fact that I can incubate and hatch chicks at the same time.

We have been very happy with our incubator going on 4 seasons now. Especially for our goose eggs and the special feature APC. Also, have hatched chicken and duck. This year we will be trying turkeys.

The only part we have had to replace is the EMI Filter. We have decided to order an extra one to have on hand since this effects the power supply.

I was having a lot of issues with chicks pipping at the wrong end and being mispositioned. The CT 180 incubator and hatcher solved that issue! Not even one was pipped wrong and the hatch rate was amazing!

I bought the CT180 because it has the APC cooling specifically for goose incubation. Mind you I have a Maticoopx that I could have used. But the advertisement make it would it made to improve hatch rates in geese and that it's set it and forget it.

Well I bought the special order goose trays that are an additional purchase. It is supposed to hold 3 goose eggs per rack. Not only does it NOT hold 3 goose eggs. It DOESN'T even fit goose eggs.

Arrived 3 days ago, it was packaged nice and no damage. Easy set up. Already have it loaded and can’t wait for the chicks to hatch. Temp and humidity are consistent without any help from me, it really is set it and forget it!!! Will review again when the eggs hatch!!!

This incubator takes the guesswork out of incubating eggs. The alarms are loud enough to be heard. Almost 100% hatch rate.

This has been the best and easiest to use incubator I have used. First set of 164 eggs only had 20 not hatch but all of those were gotten from the same place. This makes it clear that it was the eggs and not the incubator. Clean up was simple with being able to open both front and back. One thing I wish I knew before I started was that unlike others I’ve used in the past it’s not uncommon for eggs to start hatching at day 19 (I was running chickens). If you get this don’t get overwhelmed when you first open the box. The instructions have been written to make it easy to set everything up.

Simple and user friendly

We love this machine. We were using table top incubators from Tractor Supply and noted the temp in one was actually 12 degrees lower than the thermometer read causing my eggs not to hatch. I’m paying $120-140 for shipped eggs so that means I needed to do something fast. I decided then that I had to upgrade and the CT180 was just what I needed. I am already looking at ordering another one as well as a designated hatcher. The temperature is consistent and I love the large reservoir for water that makes my life easier. We just purchased the CT180 Incubator/hatcher and have our first load in. With two other thermometers/hydrometers added, we are so impressed how this new incubator holds the correct temp and humidity! Pretty much hands off unit. So much better than our table top incubators that adding a hatcher unit is looking to be in our near future. Thanks Hatching Time for offering such a great product!

Purchase my 180 two months ago I’m on my second hatch. Trouble free no issues with temperature or humidity. Set it forget it. This incubator free up a whole lot of time compared to my previous one. Improved my hatch rate I’m totally pleased with my 180.

First time using this brand of incubators and have had a 96% hatch rate with no complications. I love them so much I ordered a second one. The CT120 and CT180 are both amazing.

This is my second review after owning two ct180s and hatching over 400 eggs. I have used GQF for 30+ years, these incubators will give a better percentage of hatch rate guaranteed if you use good fertile eggs.These hatching time incubators are easy to clean with lots of great features such as the humidistat which makes it worth buying. However they cut corners that affect overall performance like egg tray design causing them to fall sideways when racks aren't Full this is a very poor design. The power Cord for the Turner that plugs in on top to the power box will not stay in again. Very poor design. Both of mine needs wood under to keep the plug plugged in so that tells me this is a common thing. They have done. Gave this product a seven out ten rating because even though it's poorly designed on some aspects it still are really good.

So my husband bought this one for me for my birthday. I have had my father's old Wooden incubator from 1996. Still runs great, have only had to replace a few things on it in the last 10 years.. But I wanted an up grade. So now I have one. I have Marans and Barnevelder Eggs in it can't wait to see the babies in 21 Days..

We as a small business switched from gqf to hatching time the CT180. It’s is by far the best incubator we have ever had. Successful higher 94-99% hatch rates and it’s easy to clean and manage. Five stars from us!

We just invested in our third CT 180 and we couldn’t be happier. It took me about 30 minutes to set up, I warmed it up, and it went the goose eggs. We are really looking forward to using the automatic cooling feature. We have nothing but great things to say about this incubator.

My 1st cabinet incubator…. So awesome don’t have to worry about much of the temp. Or humidity as the module on top takes care of it well, the reason for a high hatch rate. And cleaning is a breeze as well. Very nice product.
