Processing Cone - Chicken

Not a Verified purchase because we borrowed a friends. We need to buy some of these. We.have used metal style ones, but this was amazing. Only 8eat birds to kill, but my 14 year old and younger boy handled these well. We could put a rock on top of the bird after the kill and I was not as worried as with the metal cone we borrowed about bending the top. Also less likely to scrape yourself while getting the bird down the tube. **** on easily for our pallet set up. Anyways, looking at buying our own.

I’ve only used my broiler cones so far they work great. 6 chickens so far. I’m going to make a bracket for the quail cones. I’m sure they will work great too.

Great size, durable, very easy to clean. I wish I had these for my first batch. I would definitely recommend.

Makes the job a lot easier

Our first time processing chickens. This worked very well, I only wish that I had ordered 2 stands since I had 2 cones. But we just attached the 2nd one to a sawhorse and that worked. They rinsed out easily with a hose after we were finished.

I like this yellow plastic cone to help with poultry processing. It is big and yellow and easy to clean. The hole in the bottom is a good size. Our only problem was that the chickens had enough room around them to pull their feet into the cone with them. No matter which way we put them in. These birds were between 5 and 6 pounds finished weight. I would buy another one in the future.

I realize there are multiple ways to butcher, but I feel this cone makes the process extremely easy.
