Works great!

I purchased this quail processing cone along with a processing cone holder, but unfortunately the holder that's available will only fit the larger cones for chicken, so I came up with an idea to mount a couple of 2x4s onto a backboard and then mounted my cones to that using a bucket for a height reference. Processing time just got cut down!! 😃👍

Great, but…

I have one of these for butchering chickens. I thought I would love them for the quail. They are made of great material, easy to clean, easy to use. I just find it easier to butcher "in hand”.

Too small for Japanese quail

The cones are of very good sturdy construction and wash up extremely well but are too small for my Japanese quail. However u figured out a way to use them that does help greatly in the harvesting process and I’m pleased that I have them. T try hwy do assist in keeping the process much more hygienic for want of a better description. I think it’s a shame that as a society we are squeamish about the practicalities as sharing openly Would help many of us.

Sturdy, works great but should have some way to mount to smaller set up rather than then big kill station they sell.
