Chick Brooder - 2 Layer H: 9.5"

Very easy to snap together, clean and maintain. The controls are precise and easy to read. We love our hatching time brooders as it’s so much easier than your standard totes. Note they do need to be kept in a predator proof environment as your typical house pet can knock off the feeders and get your babies.

First time quail owners here! The brooders were easy to put together and made day to day care super easy.

The concept is great, the execution is not worth $500 +. In a nutshell, I regret this purchase. Our pieces are severely warped and did not snap together well at all. Upon opening, what appeared to be coffee spilled on the product all over. I have one photo below, but it was all over the blue enclosure pieces, they all needed to be cleaned with soap and water before assembly. Within 30 minutes of use, **** is piling up on top of the grid (without mats,) the slots are not large enough for **** to fall through. They will be standing in their **** and it’s going to be nasty. Heat is all in Celsius so you will need to convert. Product pieces are very cheap, junky and warped. I would say the heating unit is obviously the most valuable piece. Honestly, I suspect ours was a used return (and I don’t blame them.) …it showed signs of use and scuffing. Since I’ve already used it for 30 minutes, we can’t return it?? Nice… I would highly hesitate to purchase this brooder. The 9.5 inch brooder is recommended for quail, gamebirds, and bantam chickens…my two week old bantam chickens are already getting too tall to fit in this comfortably, and this is supposed to be used for 6 weeks? No way possible. Very unhappy, do plenty of research.

Seems difficult to get the temperature to regulate. The mats are slick for the chicks. Have to disassemble for cleaning. Waters hose was not long enough and have the watering trays uneven, not enough hose to lower to the floor so they can reach

I absolutely love my broader house. It's so attractive and easy to use. Cleaning is a breeze. I wish I would seen this year's ago.

Easy assembly. Convenient ways to handle chick after incubation. Easy to clean with mats and trays. Nice lighting and heating arrangements. Watering system for adults require adjustment to be used continuously.

Brooder is very convenient and easy to assemble and use. Heaters work great. Only issue is sometimes the water will leak. Overall I love using this.

This brooder is awesome! The light and heater works great. Once the quail reach about 4 weeks ,20 quail get alittle crowded but other wise this setup works as expected.

I love this brooder system, and the 9.5” set works well for my bantams. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Easy to put together. The heater and lights are great. Does a great job for caring for the needs of baby quail, all in a compact package. Changing the door of the brooder and removing the heater is a great option to make it a growout cage set.

I bought the quail cages and two layers of the brooders. I honestly like both the brooders and the cages, but the brooder does come with some draw backs that I have experienced. I live in a colder and humid state and even with a heated barn the brooder doors just break off because of how fragile they seem to be. I don’t know if I got unlucky or got a bad batch, but at times I’m scared to open them just so they don’t break. I have 8 layers of quail cages with 24 doors constantly being opened and not one has broken in those cages, just seem to have this problem with the brooders.

Great equipment. Easy to assemble

I love the concept and design. I like that there was a video to watch, and I could assemble it without real issues. The only complaint I found was that after adding my quail chicks, they escaped through the feed trough area. I had to get a little creative. Overall happy with the purchase and will be adding more.

So far so good. Will be using to cycle 40-60 birds every few weeks. Brooders have worled fantastic for the first 45 we hatched.

As with your other products the design and engineering is very good, however plastic parts particularly the seed tray are warped and twisted.

Moulding flash on one of the cups preventing lever from moving and activating/deactivating fill. Disassembled and cleaned with a file and it started to work.

However I then had a complete failure of waters dispenser for one whole section. Functional for 2 weeks prior. Almost lost 12 chicks. Disassembled, checked the cups, flushed the supply, still not acting right. It would be nice if the waterline came with a valve at bottom to drain instead of a plug.

Kinda lost faith in the water supply. There's no window to view cups and can't be seen from the front openings, so you'll have to reach your hand to feel for water and toggle the float valve.

Otherwise rest of product is nice. Good heater/controls. Dropping tray works. Opening to feed tray may be a little large. Had quail going fully into feed trough

It does sit very low to the ground and with the solid sides you can only visualize through front door. I have to kneel/lay down to look into lower layer. Not great if you have back problems. Keep your brooders on top of layer/grow out cages or plan to build a stand to lift it.

Brooder arrived very quickly. When I first opened the box I was thinking I would never be able to get all these pieces together. Good thing though is on their website, they have a video of someone doing it step by step which was great! Watch the video while you are putting it together and it goes rather quickly.

Love this brooder. Easy set up . Cleans easy and the heater is very good. Another great product .

Great product, easy to setup and thank you for the great video and all the great customer service that you all have done.

We love this brooder! I have 2 layers and bought 2 more. They do a great job and we like the features: removeable heater/light combo, temp control, feeders, floor inserts, and drinkers. We use a LED color changing bulb which we set at the red option and use the dimmer feature at night. We also bought the yellow doors to change out the clear doors with when the birds get older for more air flow when they are off heat (we raise quail) before they move out to grow our pens. This has been a game changer for us in how we brood birds: increasing capacity, using our space more efficiently, its secure and we seem to have less loss as well.

I've been using the chick brooder for a few months now. It has worked great and saves me a lot of time with cleaning. My chicks waste zero feed using this system, it will save me a lot of money as I continue to use it. I look forward to purchasing another tower.
