Water Tank (5 Gallon)

I have 3 layers in my set-up: 15" brooder layer, 9.5" brooder layer, and 16" growout cage. I LOVE how you can interconnect all the layers with a single large capacity water source on top! I currently am only using 1 layer (15 chicks from when they were 2 days old to now almost 4 weeks in the 15" broode layer). They have steadily gone through about 1/4 tank since they arrived and it has been so seamless! The water stays super clean with zero droppings in them and it refills automatically. If you've ever raised chicks without the Hatching Time system, you know this is a dream come true (one that you never thought possible)! Gone are the days where you have to clean and refill those other types of traditional waterers 5-8 times a day when they inevitably fill up with pine shavings or ****! I have 5 more baby chicks coming on Friday and I'm extremely excited to see this 2nd layer in action with the fully automated watering system! Thank you Hatching Time!

Perfectly fits on top of brooder. Helps lessen daily chores of filling water!

Love the larger size. Has feet that keep it in place.
Wish I could buy a plug for the top hole.

I like how this 5-gallon tank fits on the top frame of the cages. Our 21 quail have a reliable water source for 3-4 days without refilling. A must have!

I recommend upgrading to this if u have the smaller tank. Less buckets of water every few days

Love it holds enough water that I can leave for couple days and don't have to worry about chicks not getting water

Works great when putting different equipment together such as brooders and grow out pens.
