We've also introduced new upgrades in 2024! Our quail breeding cage now features removable middle walls that can easily be converted into a hutch style setup. This not only gives you the versatility of a quail coop but also the convenience of an easy egg collection system.

We've also extended the removable waste tray by 3 inches to prevent waste from landing in the quail food below when stacking, aiding in reducing feed loss even more.

Should I purchase anything extra?

Your complete cage system will come with everything you need! However, you can always purchase an extra manure tray for faster and easier clean-ups! Additionally, we do sell extra supplies for our watering systems including tanks, nipples, and water hose!

What is the difference between the Jumbo and Traditional Flooring?

If you are raising jumbo quail, it is advised that you purchase the Jumbo Quail Flooring. This is due to the fact that the holes are slightly bigger in the floor and will allow the manure to fall through much easier! The traditional flooring will work for regular sized quail. Make sure to click the on the option you need before adding to your cart!

Are these cages predator proof?

No, our cages are not predator proof. They are best placed in an enclosed shelter or an outbuilding.

Highly recommend!!

I really like this set up! I had a small problem with watering system leaking but fixed it with a little teflon tape. I also replaced the waste trays with a larger one to help with the wast coming out in the feeder, beside these two small issues, no problems. The instructions can be difficult but watch the assembly video and nothing to it. I will honestly say I very rarely do any reviews mainly because there is very few products that is worth my time, lol. This one is and I really like it so far!!! I added it on top of my hatching time brooder and it has worked great!! Highly recommend and hope to purchase another soon!!

My Quail Love It

I bought this to add a “penthouse” for my breeder quail to my brooder and grow out layers. I have 12 adult jumbos in there with the larger flooring and they love it. I like how clean it stays and how the eggs gently roll to the front for easy retrieval. This also keeps the eggs very clean too. The waste tray is nice and I love the feeding tray with grid. It keeps them from throwing food everywhere. Overall an excellent product and I’m looking forward to adding more of these as needed.

Excellent quality

This cage is really nice. I would recommend this to anyone raising quail. However, I don't like that you need to use a power drill to put it together. If only the aluminum tube was threaded, assembly would be so much easier. Paper instructions are seriously lacking in information as well. I put in some young jumbo quail, and the waste would not drop, within a day they were toe-balling. I switched in some non-jumbo colored variety and the waste falls through perfectly now. Overall, very pleased, haven't found any food waste and quail seem happy.

Would like to see easier assembly in future models.

After moving my quail into this cage from the brooder, I'm finding that the gravity water system isn't working. They sent some extra nipples, so I'll have to troubleshoot the system, so I'm thankful that was included. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this.

Quail Layer Addition

I’m definitely enjoying my new layer addition. I was able to order the new adjustable walls and upgraded my flooring to jumbo quail flooring prior to it being shipped. Now I have a lot more space. And since it was my second time Buikding the cages it was much easier. I was also pleasantly surprised that it came with an extra replacement nipple. I’m going to order the larger waterer though because my quail drink a lot.

Perfect for an addition

Added this to my already existing rack to make it bigger. Assembly took some time but, fairly simple to get together. Love that the eggs roll out clean and easy to see birds and eggs. This has cut down chore time in half (or more)!

The additional layer was as easy to aasemble as my first purchase. The instructions are a helpful reference for first assembly but a quick visual assessment of the design is all you really need to put the pieces together. The addtion fits nicely atop the first two layers and gravity water disbursement without any complications.
