Quail Cage - 2 Layer

Don’t buy these. Watering systems don’t work. Chicks get into feed and poo all over it. Cage gets disgusting very fast do to extra small grates and the black mats compound the issue. No refunds, no returns, doors don’t open all the way due to the tray blocking it.
Save your money! I wish I had.

Once assembled correctly, the product is fine and looks nice. However, the assembly instructions are not great, and the assembly is not easy. If you mis-assemble any part, then trying to fix it is also not easy. Customer service, though, was fantastic.

I like the design. You will eventually add on to it. I wish it came with a bigger water reservoir

I am a 70 year old woman and I put it together by myself. Two layer quail cage. Was easy, except my hand strength is not great so I found it very helpful to carefully use regular pliers to carefully help snap the sides together. Also I would suggest including a shutoff valves between levels. Also some sort of snap down for the middle of the feeding trough would be wonderful. I got this product as it is a complete system and it is great for my use which is eggs and meat. Thanks for a great product!

I was not thrilled with the way that the support bars had to be screwed in. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to **** them together tightly without my husbands help. Highly recommend watching the setup video before attempting to put together. Once setup was complete I was very happy with the simplicity of the cage. Cleaning and usage are insanely easy. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

It took my husband and I awhile to put together! But it is solid and sturdy, just take your time and watch the video!!! Our quail are so happy, and it is so easy to take care of them! Can't wait to get more layers to add to our 2 decker!

This cage set is fantastic! It took about 2 hours to assemble, which was not too bad! Everything is super sturdy and we’re looking forward to raising some quail!

I love these quail breeding cages. Eggs are easy to gather and are clean. We get the occasional large **** balls that don't fall thru the floor, but they do offer Partridge flooring for Jumbo Coturnix (which I'll get when I order my next set of breeder cages). Feeding and supplying water is easy. I do like that they now offer the open walls for a more community like setup (which I will get on my next setup as well). Easy to clean and fairly sturdy for being plastic. However, I do wish you could get solid walls for the back. We house our quail in the garage and will often prop our doors open while working for air flow and ease of moving in and out. This causes a draft thru the garage. To keep the draft from our cages, we just clipped some empty feed bags to the back. The other thing is that I wish the manure trays were just a bit longer so **** balls didn't roll down the egg rollout and fall down to the feeder trough down below.

My husband and I LOVE these cages. He said he was able to put the levels together in 11 minutes. I helped with the waterers and wheels later. Everything snaps together perfectly. We haven't stopped gushing about the beauty, simplicity, hygienic nature, s well as good for the feet of the birds and the simplicity of feeding, watering, AND collecting of eggs. We are planning on getting the brooder at some point. This is the cage you want.

Thanks to the great instructional videos and innovative design, assembly was a breeze. Customer support was quick to respond to all of my questions. Love this setup! Looking forward to expanding in the future!

super easy to set up and roomy for the amount of quails we have atm (10) love that its practical and arrived on time.

There needs to be a better watering system and better egg rollout. All my eggs get stuck.

Broken parts, the whole cage is plastic and a piece of junk, not worth what i paid

First time ordering from Hatchingtime and couldn't be happier. Very strong and tight fitting cages. Very durable materials. Support and help videos were wonderful during assembly.

Super amazing easy to clean one of the food trays had alittle damage from shiping but over all i love it so do my quails <3

These are great for breeding quail love going out and seeing all the eggs rolled out great product

Do not waste your money.

I really enjoy this cage and my birds seem happier too. I originally had them in too large of a cage and it was stressing them out. They improved after a few hours in this cage. Really my only complaints are the instructions could be a little more detailed, the watering pipe had plastic debris in it that I had to clean out for it to work, and the eggs don't always roll out on their own. I also wish I had the option for a tray waterer. I will however be buying add on Layers and I think a repeat customer speaks more than any reviews.
