Quail Cage - 5 Layer

Absolutely love this cage!! Easy to clean super functional and a breeze to assemble. Was leary of the bad reviews on the watering system but I had no leaks and no problems and going to get another one. Just remember to flush out the air bubbles after assembling. Customer service is top notch!

The cages themselves work great. However after just 4 months of use the frame has broken.
My husband went to pull the cage away from the wall to check the water, a mere few inches. It's built on wheels, so it should be capable of this. The rear leg snapped off causing the whole cage to topple toward him. Luckily it was him and not me. He was able to catch it. As he was scrambling to find something to prop it up on the front leg on the same side snapped off as well. He did manage to get a few pieces of wood under to prop it up. When we checked it the next day the other two legs were starting to buckle and the whole system was leaning. We were able to get it proped up enough to get it stable. It's been three days since I've emailed hatching time and have not received a response yet.

I only just got into raising quail this past year, and I must say, within a few hours I was up and running. Whether you are breeding for just yourself or are running an industrial operation, you need this system.

With its ease of use and modular design I can quickly break the racks down for simplicity in cleaning and general maintenance. With the unit’s small footprint and stackable design I am able to fit it in my shed, perfect for suburban dwellers!

We ordered a 5 tier Quail system for our farm. Easily put together and a quality system for our whole covey! Can’t wait to organize all our birds in their own layers.

These are the best quail cages you can buy they are durable snapped together and are Are very convenient to roll around clean underneath them and put them back. Please note it will take you a while to put a 5 layer together it took me a little over an hour and a 1/2 but be patient definitely pay attention to the arrows because they are very important to the proper Assembly. Once together you'll be proud of your accomplishment This is a super unit for your quails. Do your homework, watch the videos and pay attention you'll be rewarded by a great cage for many years to come. I like them so much I bought three.

Order arrived extremely quickly and the cage was very easy to assemble. I love the design and the new features are great. My only problems are that you can’t open the doors with the feeders attached, but it’s not hard to remove the feeders if you need access to the cage, and there’s not really a place for the quail to have a permanent dust bath installed, but you could always put a small tray in once or twice a week. I would definitely recommend buying an extra manure tray as well, it makes clean up a breeze. All in all, great product at a great price from an amazing company. I have loved everything I’ve ever gotten from here and if there’s ever any problems they have the best customer service and will get it fixed right away

Had fun putting it together because I like building things. Instructions were easy to follow. I like it because the eggs roll right out to the try so I don’t have stick my hand in there to take them out. Overall I really like this cage and I know my quails like it too.

I am a small West Texas Quail farmer, I have nothing but hatching Time products. I have a ct60 incubator I have 4 hatching time brooters, I have 5 grow outs cages , I have 25/ five layer finishing cages. I have plans developing to buy double that in the future. Currently I only have watering issues, and I believe hatching time has taken steps to correct these issues. I like these cages and setups because they are very quick and convenient for me to add on to what I have as well as very easy to clean. Thank you very much for your product.

The best available but there isn't really any competition. The birds are happier and cleaner than they've been but cats can grab birds through the egg rollouts. It's annoying that you can't mix and match the different floor sizes in the same tier which means if you want to keep spares, you must keep one of each size. The doors aren't the most secure design. The dimensions posted do not include the watering hardware or heat controls for the brooder. Though you can stack brooders/grow out cages with the layer cage, you will need a longer hose section than provided. The optional auto filling bucket sprays everywhere while filling. I have no idea how I'm going to winterize the watering system... it would be great if they had 90 degree connectors so that a loop can be made and inline pump added..

These breeder pens are great. I have 8 of them. Very easy to clean. No sharp edges for you or your birds to get injured. They seam pricy but when you try to build your own you will find these are a good value.. go on , pull the trigger and get them! You won’t be sorry!

I recently purchased the quail breeding cage, the brooder and some nest boxes, all went together pretty well, but you have to watch Ryan's videos and work on a hard surface, like a concrete floor in you shop/garage if possible. I currently have quail in the brood and they are doing great. I recommend buying these products for anyone starting out or expanding you flocks

Assembly process was very straightforward, but I highly recommend watching the assembly video on YouTube. These cages are much more stable than you would expect and being able to roll them for cleaning is amazing!

I just wanted to get give a small review of the hatching time 5 tear. Took me about 10 hours to complete. Over half of the sides was so warped they don't snap together. Or when u take a dead blow to lightly tap them together they broke. Top bottoms door and back are great. I even ordered 4 of the complete walk through as Terry from Corturix Quail recommended. And I liked the idea. Over all I like it. Mine has zip ties in places cause it didn't hold in places due to the plastic warped so bad. After writing this maybe I should have got my heat gun and tried to fix it. But I didn't think of it. Some pics of the stuff and finished project. All I can say they need to lay some eggs!!!!!

I waited to write a review to see how well this system could stand the test of time and I’ve had it for about 2 years now with no major issues. I will say it was difficult to keep the water system thawed throughout the winter as I keep my quail in a separate shed, but other than a busted water rail due to freezing, I love this product. The rollout system works great and I don’t waste very much feed.

This gives us a way to keep our birds clean and allows for easy collection of eggs. We highly recommend hatchingtime products to all our homesteading friends.

I’ve never encountered anything as demanding or difficult to put together. The plastic sides simply don’t snap together well and constantly separate during assembly. If I hadn’t already broken a few pieces and gotten glue and epoxy over everything I had I would return.

This is the reason I started using HatchingTime for my quail needs. I was looking at a cage for quails, and came across a picture with this setup. So I ordered the 2 section, and after getting it realize it wouldn't be enough for me. Then I ordered the 1 layer brooder to get started. Finnaly was able to order the whole 5 layer setup. I was already used to how it works putting it together so it was a breeze. It fit perfectly on the corner of my shed. Great system, works just as intended. However the only reason I gave 4 stars is:
1. For some reason the left side of the watering system stopped working unexpectedly resulting in loss of quails. Fixed it by propping the right side with a 2x4.
2. The medal rods that hold the layers to the legs always strip, the white anchors get pushed inside the rods, and become loose fitting. I would suggest instead of the plastic anchors to just create grooves in the rods itself so you can just **** straight into it.
