Egg Basket - 6 Eggs

These baskets are great for being able to pedigree our show poultry. We made some dividers for ours to have smaller basket sized for our single mated pens of bantams.
They are also easy to clean and store. Extremely durable as well! A must have if you are keeping records and pedigree mating your poultry!

I was pleasantly surprised that the egg basket fits 6 eggs nicely with plenty of room for the chicks. I can use it for silkie eggs or large chicken breed eggs.

Ordered March 6, paid for March 6, reviewed March 18, now due on March 20. Shipping policy states leaves warehouse 1-2 business days. I'm in the 2 day shipping zone. If it arrives on the 20th. 10 business days gave gone by. I need the product, but have built my own basket separators. You make of this review as you will. I'll wait on my product! I've ordered in the past and been pleased with Customer Service, shipping, etc. Not so much this time.

I have been using these baskets to separate my different hatching eggs from different breeds. They are extremely easy to clean and are the perfect size for my eggs. Great product!

I have a few colors of English Orpington that are only laying a few eggs and this is a great way to consolidate space and hatch without mixing colors, and running the risk of not being able to tell the difference between the chicks.

Haven’t been able to use them yet. Next hatch is March 17th. All in all they all look great and I am very positive they will do what the are intended. Shipping was terrible. I had ordered them to go with my previous hatch but shipping was 3 days late from what they said.

Wayyyy better than other methods of separating small batches at hatch, and 5 of them fit in each of my tabletop GQF incubators!

A very must have if hatching multiplied breeds.

This is a must have if you are single mating birds and want to be able to tow punch and keep your blood lines separated.

This is a great idea, especially for single mating eggs. The only drawback is that they have to be put inside the tray that comes with the incubator. They do not really fit comfortably, they do fit however.

Does not span the width of the incubator tray holder/rails. It's almost an inch shorter than the width of the incubator.

We incubate for other people as well as ourselves. This is great for people who just bring me 6 or 12 eggs. It keeps their eggs separate and secure during the hatching process. These baskets also fill the extra space in the incubator perfectly as we use a 30 egg basket in the middle. As with many of Hatchingtime products, these are easy to clean which is important to us to keep things as clean and hygienic as possible, especially in an incubation setting.
