This model (9.5") is best suited for smaller gamebirds, such as quail, partridge and pheasants.
Yes, they are! However, they are meant for juvenile birds and do not come with a heat source. These cages can be beneficial to help keep your younger and more mature birds separate as well as free up space in your brooder for incoming chicks!
No, they do not. We also do not sell anything separately that can be used as a divider. Our brooders are fully open on the inside and dividers are not advised as the water source is located on one end of the cage and the chicks would not have a way to remove themselves from the heat.
Well it ok I guess plastic injection mold from China I'm sure. Got it all to gether. Thereafter nipplers run over in one tier fill up **** tray.not sure what I can do about that. Plus just to have two water nipplers per tier is dumb. The need more in water nipplers in each tiers also needs more air flow on each tier other then the front of each tier. Yes you can buy none solid side panels and rear panel but for price this should be offered in the deal. Not have to buy extra for 12 dollars or more per panel. It's hot in Texas in the summer I have had over 20 days straight 100 plus degrees with no relief in site. Not sure what we can do about the nipplers that the gloat does not seem to stop. Also the bracket hold the waters to the back of cage is a peace of flimsy junk. The product needs more RD DISGEN to it.was think of get a laying cage but after putting the grow style to gather I well have to think about
Thank you for the feedback, John. Stackable brooders, grow-out pens, and breeding cages have been perfected over the last 30 years. Poultry scientists have worked vigorously to provide you with the most sanitary, stackable units around. Made from 100% recycled plastic, the modular parts are easily put together and can be disassembled for transportation. Modular design means you can mix-n-match cages and brooders to create a custom experience. The unit can be power-washed and will not rust!
They are manufactured in Europe and used around the world in a variety of climates. They provide a protected environment for young birds to get accustomed to the water and feed system. To prevent bird wetting, closed nipple drinkers receive clean, algae-free water from the water tank above. The adjustable water hangers are designed for flexibility as the young birds grow.
Pumping the water nipples a few times to release any air usually stops any leaks. Sometimes debris gets trapped, and you may have to empty the water out from the bottom by removing the end cap on the water hose and refill with water. Or the items get damaged during shipment and need to be replaced. If you need further assistance, we can be reached at (800) 511-1369 Monday – Friday (10 am – 6 pm ET).
This allows us to let our meat quail grow out in a safe space while we separate the egg layers into the layer tower. We love the options it gives us.
