Description

Great for chicks in the beginning days of sugary water, vitamins and antibiotics. The narrow drinking space prevents small chicks such as quail, partridge or pheasant from getting wet and/or drowning. All transparent cups make it easy for chicks to find the water. Locking cup mechanism prevents tipping. The water chamber is circular to allow drinking from all directions. Typically used in our chick brooders.

Worry-free waterer!

We love these little waterers for our hatchlings. The design makes it nearly impossible for tired little chicks to fall asleep on the waterer and accidentally drown.

It is very, very very tiny. The picture is bigger than what the product itself is.

The starter feeder weighs 2 oz. It is 7 inches long x 2.38 inches wide x 1.25 inches deep.
The starter drinker weighs 3 oz and holds 12 oz of water.
Tip for filling the starter drinker - Turn the drinker upside down, unscrew the red bottom, fill with water and screw the bottom back on.

Just the right size for freshly hatched chicks.

The right size

With new quail chicks I wanted a drinker that freshly hatched birds could use yet not so big that they could soak themselves in a drinker. This is just the right size to take care of my young birds.

Great for finches, too!

I bought these to try out for my finches, as I wanted a good way to give them medicine and supplements without using the more traditional styles that hook onto the cage. If you have a few finches the traditional hook ones are not too bad, but when you have 12 pairs spread across cages, it's a pain, and when I give water supplements I have to swap it out often.

With these, though, my life is much easier. I just set them on the floor, then pick them up later. Very easy to work with, and the size is PERFECT for finches. I whole-heartedly recommend these.
