Description

Farm Mill Compact Feed Grinder - High Speed Small-Batch Milling for Poultry & Livestock

The Farm Mill Compact Feed Grinder is a powerful, space-saving milling machine designed for grinding small batches of grains and flours, perfect for feeding chickens, pigs, ducks, turkeys, and other livestock. With its compact, container-compatible design, this grinder fits easily into homesteads, small barns, and workshops where space is limited. Equipped with a high-speed 19,000 RPM motor and 2–5 mm interchangeable screens, the Farm Mill Compact produces both fine and coarse feed textures with ease. Whether you're making chicken mash, cracked corn, or meal for pigs and goats, this compact feed grinder delivers fast, reliable output. Its sturdy build and thermal-protected motor also allow grinding of dry, non-feed materials such as sugar, salt, and other granular ingredients.

Features & Benefits

  • High-speed 19,000 RPM motor for fast, consistent grinding.
  • Produces approximately 154–220 lbs/h of fine feed and 440–660 lbs/h of coarse feed.
  • Ideal for poultry and livestock, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, goats, and small ruminants.
  • Also mills edible dry materials such as sugar, salt, and other food-grade ingredients.
  • Compact footprint works with any suitable container—no fixed bucket, base, or legs required.
  • Built-in thermal motor protection helps prevent overheating during extended milling sessions.

How It Works

Pour grains or other dry materials into the top hopper and switch on the 19,000 RPM motor. Choose your desired texture by installing the appropriate 2–5 mm screen. As the grinder runs, the material is milled and discharged directly into the container of your choice positioned below the outlet, making it easy to collect, store, or mix feed.

Don’t waste your money!

Absolute garbage. Had the first one for a month, didn’t even grind 200 pounds of corn and the motor locked up. I got a replacement and it did last longer, almost two months and about 500 pounds. Maybe I’m expecting too much out of it, but to me it should be lasting a whole lot longer than 2 months.

Great for small batches

I grind about 8–10 pounds at a time and this handles it smoothly without overheating. It’s ideal if you’re not running a commercial operation.

That’s exactly the intended use. Perfect for small-scale flocks.

Good but louder than expected

Performance is solid, but it does make some noise while running. Not a deal breaker, just something to know.

That’s fair feedback. Grain crushers do produce some sound, but we’re glad it’s performing well.

Plugged it in and started grinding within minutes. No complicated setup.

Simple startup is important. We’re happy it was straightforward for you.

saves me so much time

I used to crush grain manually for my birds. This has cut that chore down dramatically. What used to take 30–40 minutes now takes a fraction of the time, and the consistency is much better.

That’s a big time savings. We’re glad it’s making feed prep easier and faster.

Compact but surprisingly strong

I honestly didn’t expect this much power from a smaller unit. I’ve run whole corn, barley, and mixed grains through it without stalling. The grind size is consistent and the motor feels steady the entire time.

That power-to-size ratio is something we’re proud of. Thanks for giving it a thorough test!
