Excellent product. Assembly is easy - information on the enclosed leaflet is sufficient, I didn't have to watch youtube videos etc, and therefore don't understand some comments about the assembly issues. Well, some folks are challenged putting together IKEA cabinets :)
My special thanks to support team - who are very supportive and reply instantly: I had a minor incubator issue which was addressed swiftly.
Hatch rate was very good: 65% on the eggs which were 5 days in transit, shipped in Canada with negative temperatures outside.
The only complain....shipment to Canada is very expensive- open location here pls :)
Thank you for the review and for thanking our support team. We will share your comments and suggestions with our team - The Hatching Time Team
Very well priced for the stuff you get.
We were able to assemble everything so easily! We had one small defect that was fixed promptly when we reached out to the guys over at hatching time. Very impressed so far. We will be ordering again for sure!
Thank you for your review, Matthew. Glad to hear it was so easy to get everything assembled. Best of luck with your flock. The Hatching Time Team

from 1737 reviewsGreat Product. The first layer took a little time to assemble but not bad and the next 3 layers went together like a snap. The watering rail was a little more complicated on assembling that what I was expecting. Overall great product.
Ramping up my quail egg production and wanted something that worked and was rust proof, this is the real deal. Daunting at first when I opened the box and saw how many pieces there were but easy to follow the directions and snap things together. Great product.
We found this came quickly & was easily assembled. We read lots of reviews both on & off site, so
Because of those reviews we were prepared with additional zip ties and a shelf to hold water like this from amazon GIOTORENT 5 Tier Standing Shelving Metal Units, Adjustable Height Wire Shelf Display Rack for Laundry Bathroom Kitchen 11.8 W x 11.8 D x 50 H (5-Tier, Black) https://a.co/d/h3WnMEw
So our water is not sitting on the cages. We received on additional water "spigot"? For the drink system but 3 did not work so we're still short so we bought something similar from nearby seed store that was not same but sort of worked with modifications.
I suggest you buy 3 extra trays as we only bought one extra & with just 4 trays we see it would be better to switch all at once & clean than swap like we do now.
Our jumbo coturnix eggs do not roll out but we're mostly happy with this setup.
Make sure you put it in a safe- predator free- space because feeding trough is not protected at all.
Bought the 60 egg model last spring. Great support getting it going. First run was challenging due to very high humidity outside and in the room. Incubator struggled to keep settings. Moved to smaller room and added dehumidifier. Issue solved. First hatch end of May. 2 more runs without a problem other than of my own making. Dont recommend having more than 2 incubating periods. (Run 2) I had some chicks requiring hatch help with shell sticking on them and a number of chicks with bent toes from, I think the temp/humidity fluctuations due to frequent door opening. The third full run went stellar with all chicken eggs. Overall, my hatch rate was about 50%. Because I suck at candling colored fresh eggs, I had a lot of infertile, a few that did not progress, and some that died in shell near hatch time.
I had 1 chick die, not unexpected, required q lot of handling and a keet got stuck and suffocated in the brooder. Overall, I call this a success! I have managed to keep them cool enough and alive for the past 2 months inspite of 106 to 110 degree heat in a metal building. 6 fans, wading pans, misters, and sitting in there monitoring the temp. Without adequate intervention at first the temp got briefly as high as 112. The new chicken house for the approx 100 babies will be ready soon with air-conditioning! Please suggest distilled water for areas with gypsum or hard water. I used filtered water the first run and cleaning the fan was brutal. Love the two doors. Is there a way to manually level the incubation trays other than watching them rotate and catching them in the right position, Im not blonde but I could not figure out any other way. Thanks for a great product and support. Anyone want a rooster or two or three? Lol
Love this so far, a tiny bit difficult to put together but I advise to watch some videos beforehand. Also donāt be scared to hit the pieces together with a rubber mallet, you have to in order to get it together correctly and everything is so sturdy itās not gonna hurt anything. I really love it so far.
We were all egg-cited to receive the hatching time 2 section layer cage. It has not disappointed. The quality seems wonderful Iāve watched the video for assembly and believe itāll be easy. I appreciate that everything we need is included. No need to shop for waterer or feeders. Looking forward to getting our quail and into the hatching time cage.
Had fun putting it together because I like building things. Instructions were easy to follow. I like it because the eggs roll right out to the try so I donāt have stick my hand in there to take them out. Overall I really like this cage and I know my quails like it too.
1. Fast Delivery
2. Easy to put together
3. In 30 seconds I had two chickens ready
4. Donāt think twice, get yourself one :) !!!!
I'm living proof that I was struggling with good hatch rates using other brand incubators so yearly in the years I decided to give Hatching Time a try based on reviews and friends in the Old English Game Bantam business mostly show birds and let me tell you easy set up right out of the box and the second day I loaded it down with a variety of bantams and starting on day 18 and continuing thru day 21 my first hatch rate was at about 95 % I was astonished at the birds I got Hatched because of my poor hatch rate with past incubators..I continued to hatch till the wife suggested I quit cause of room requirements. Long story short most successfully year I've ever had and I got some beautiful birds that was Hatched early in the year..If you want hatching sucess you will not regret buying a Hatching Time incubator best on the market right out of the box and best customer service folks in the business...
Well it ok I guess plastic injection mold from China I'm sure. Got it all to gether. Thereafter nipplers run over in one tier fill up **** tray.not sure what I can do about that. Plus just to have two water nipplers per tier is dumb. The need more in water nipplers in each tiers also needs more air flow on each tier other then the front of each tier. Yes you can buy none solid side panels and rear panel but for price this should be offered in the deal. Not have to buy extra for 12 dollars or more per panel. It's hot in Texas in the summer I have had over 20 days straight 100 plus degrees with no relief in site. Not sure what we can do about the nipplers that the gloat does not seem to stop. Also the bracket hold the waters to the back of cage is a peace of flimsy junk. The product needs more RD DISGEN to it.was think of get a laying cage but after putting the grow style to gather I well have to think about
Sincerely

I recently ordered the Quail cage - 2 Lawer. I placed my order on Wednesday July 27th and received it on Saturday July 29th. I assembled the cages in less than an hour. the shipping time was amazing. Less than 72 hours from ordering to assembled and shipping was free. Thank You.
This will be my first time processing birds. I looked all over for reviews of different transport cages and there are really not that many. I came across one review of these and decided to go with them. The review I watched made mention of how hard they are to put together and that you needed a hammer. I disagree! I put together 7 of these in less than 30 minutes and with no tools. Very easy to put together. I may have to do a video review of these and the assembly to show just how easy it is!
After two months of use, humidity has held within 1% of setpoint and temperatures within two tenths! Iāve used to hatch peacocks, pheasant, coturnix, bobwhite, gamble, blue scale, valley, and mearns quail, and both bantam and standard chickens at a 88%+ fertile hatch rate in 382 eggs. Other than mearns, all eggs were incubated together at a constant humidity and temperature without issues.
The only issue Iāve had (and likely due to humidity settings) is splayed legs in the quail at about 5% incidence. Iāve lined the baskets with paper towels prior to hatching and seem to have eliminated the issue.
I love this brooder. Super easy to move and spray down with water hose. Doors come off easy for cleaning as do mats when in use. Tried water system and did not like taking apart to properly clean. I created my own and this might be good accessory for sale. Some sort of pop outs with adjustable side and back shelf so raise waters during growth. See what I did. I have to make my tower larger as they grow. They take to nipple quickly though I no longer use nipple waterers 100% outside. Mix of those and rent a coop cups. I also put puppy pads on litter tray easy clean up. This is the best brooder system yet.
This is our 5th layer cage. We love them. HT customer service was quick to help us out on this order.
