Needs legs like the 5 gal

The 5 gals is 5 stars! This 2 gal slides all over because unlike the 5 gal this does not have little feet/legs on it to sit in the frame. See picture. Not sure when the buckets wouldn’t be the same just less gallons.

So easy to use and maintain.

The construction is solid and durable — exactly what you need on a busy farm.

It does what it needs too

It works but if you have the money then buy the 5 gallon because even with just 26 birds I have to refill it every day and sometimes twice a day. It will do the job but you will be happier with the 5 gallon.

Self watering kit

I have only just assembled the kit and have not yet filled it up to use as my quail are only a week old and not int the primary cages yet.
That being said the watering kit seems to be good quality and easy to assemble the parts. I did not look to see if there is a quick disconnect option from the tank to the hose but I think I will try to adapt one so that I can easily remove the tank for cleaning.
