Description

Rainproof transmitter for ThermoPro models: TP60S & TP65. Can NOT be used alone.

Warning: Do not place in direct sunlight as it can affect temperature readings. The remote sensor must be always placed upwards so that rain won't get inside the sensor through the vent holes on the bottom of the sensor which functions to let the remote sensor detect the environmental temperature and humidity more precisely and quickly.

How to Sync

NOTE: The sensor's initial channel is channel ONE, when connecting, please ensure to slide button on the back to set Channel 1, 2 or 3

How to Synchronize Remote Sensors

Position the remote sensor near the base station
Install batteries into transmitter and receiver
The RF signal icon (located on the upper left of the base station display) will flash
Wait for a moment or press TX button in the outdoor transmitter
The remote sensor temperature/humidity will appear Auto-Off - 90 seconds

No. The TX2 is a wireless transmitter and needs a compatible TP60S or TP65 base station to display its temperature and humidity readings.

What is the wireless range of the TX2 sensor?

The TX2 has a transmission range of up to 200 ft and refreshes readings about every 50 seconds. Walls and interference can reduce the practical range.

How is the TX2 powered, and how do I select a channel?

The sensor uses two AAA batteries, which are included. It can be assigned to channel 1, 2, or 3 when pairing multiple sensors with a compatible base station.

Can the TX2 wireless sensor be left outside?

The accuracy of the incubator’s sensors is excellent.

Bought base and 2 other sensors. Love that the sensors are waterproof and hung one outside. Keep base next to my chair so I know temp in main living area, 1 in incubator as a double check and 1 in my quail room to keep track of temps in there. Temp is a bit off from other thermometers I have in incubator but within a degree. Could be because it sits on floor.
