Chick Brooder - 2 Section H:9.5" (Starter Kit for Game Birds and Small Chicken Breeds)

Purchased one of these not knowing what to expect because I've always used the old wood brooder. Very satisfied love everything about it!!!!

Bought this for six quail I was given a few weeks ago worked great for me. This brooder held temperature great and the water system is super easy to clean

My brooder came in just in time for me to get it together and transfer 31 babies from the incubator to the brooder. I hit a little snag when I couldn’t find the green part that goes on the feeding trough trough trough. Well after attempting to contact customer service and failed, my wife found the part. It was already on the feeding trough trough but it was white not green so naturally it was hard to see on a white feed trough!

Purchased a chick brooder. Heater didn't work. After many sessions with customer they still didn't replace it. So I will have to purchase another heater.

Spoke with customer service multiple times. Regarding heater not working. Replaced the fuse still not working spoke with them again. They said they would take care of it. Still nothing.

Over all, this brooder is great. The only problem was the black mats when they first hatch. Poo piles up quickly and smells really bad. Baby quail are cute until you pick them up and they are covered in poo! It would be way better if you had room on the floor to put a layer of bedding in there. Once the mats come out, it's great. Before getting this brooder I had 5 chicks die because it got too hot for them, the temperature regulation is a literal life saver!

I highly recommend this product! Only thing that would make it better is if the instructions included info on the back panel. It is directional and should be marked for easier assembly.

This is a small brooder, if you have larger birds buy one of the taller models but for a small batch of quail this is perfect. I wanted something that was safe and with easy to regulate temperature and this fit the bill. I feel comfortable keeping this in my home since there is a low risk for fire as opposed to some home-built units and it comes with all the parts to transition young chicks to the feeders and waterers they will use in the Hatching Time quail cage if you use that or something similar. The instructions that came with this was rather generic and appeared to be more suited to their other brooders. I basically just had to figure it out myself. I couldn't find any YouTube videos like the other products have but there was a list of parts one the website that helped me identify what the parts were which gave me clues on the build. It also helped that I had just built a two-layer quail cage for which there is a terrific build video available as some of the construction is similar.

the box it came in was damaged the heater plastic part near the plug is broken and flimsy but still works the **** tray is cracked one one side but still usable. other than that its a really nice brooder. Planning on buying another later on. hopefully it wont be damaged.

The box it came in was completely destroyed, the plastic walls and roofs were bent, and the instructions that came with the cage where the wrong ones. But we did get it to work and it works fine

Works as described , assembly was a breeze , just be sure to purchase proper brooder for the type of bird you have :four_leaf_clover::+1::skin-tone-2::bulb:

I thought I was going to love this brooder ....but it leaks water down into the bottom tray , the little drinker cups don't work and all my chicks have severe burns on their heads so I had to take them out and make a brooder with a plastic bin and a lamp . Could have saved myself $100 . Wish I could send it back.
