Chick Brooder - Automatic Heater - HT03E

We bought our first tower system 2 years ago. 1 yr in and 1 heater quit. Cannot get a replacement (back ordered) got chicks hatching in the mean time. Ordered another section just to get a new heater for the original 3 got it in and setup. Hatch loaded a second heater quit. Now we have 2 more on order and guess what?? Back ordered again!!! Now we have birds hatching and NO heaters in 2 UNiTs. Sooooo annoying!!!

These are great to use I can go straight from them hatching them the brooder with no issues!

I was gifted several Hatching Time units quail brooders secondhand and realize that one of the heaters had been broken. Upon accessing the Hatching Time wensite I was delighted to find Everything I needed to upgrade and repair the units was in the web site. Easy to order and fast shipping! And the free shipping over $100 is amazing! Will be buying from Hatching Time again!!!

I got the two tier quail brooder for my cortunix breeding project. The first two times I ran my broods through it they worked just fine. Then when I ran my third hatch through it one unit stopped heating. Reached out to customer service and basically found out these are under absolutely no warranty and that I could send it in and pay them to try to fix it. After only two uses! Then with this current hatch (4th hatch) my second unit for the top is now having issues with the light bulb unit not staying on and extremely loose. I am highly disappointed in these systems and am shocked they have no warranty. Nothing should break like this after two or three uses, especially for the price. Will be looking into a completely new system. I am sad as these seemed to work well....if the heating/light units would work. But they don't.

I have had nothing but issues with these since I bought the entire brooder unit back in the spring. I ran two broods through one before the heating element stopped working and now I am on my third brood and my only remaining heating unit has now had issues with the light staying on. Customer service wants to charge me to fix the units when I feel they should have a warranty on them. I am now trying to find a new brooder unit as I have been highly disappointed with this entire system with the way I have been disregarded and told to send in and pay for fixing when they should have no issues to begin with. Will not recommend this product after the issues I have had.

we bought A 5 tier 9.5 and then decide to add 3 auto heaters to it. Installing was simple and now we can place our chicks into the brooder as soon as they dry off!

This brooder lamp is going to allow us to brood out our new chicks all in the same setup that we already have our other generations of quail happily living in. So nice for those of us raising larger amounts of quail. Anything that helps simplify the work and maximize efforts is 5 stars for us!

I had gotten my double layer HT brooder as a gift from my fiancé, and within a year one of the heaters let go. They sent me a replacement fast lady spring.. a few days ago I smelled burning near the brooder and now once again one of the heaters has stopped working. We took apart the first one and the heating component actually melted the fuse, same exact thing happened Ed to this one! Very unhappy as I refuse to spend $130 on another one when they seem to only last a year.

So my heater mechanism was manhandled in the mail and Hatching Time sent me a new one right away. My quail have lots of room to run around the brooder. While the food tray has plenty of room for baby escapees a rolled up news paper in it until they grow a tad more is a great solution until they get a bit bigger and I can fill it with food.

This is a replacement the original one didn’t last a year … FedEx messed up shipping took almost 2 weeks to get… purchased other thing from here before with no issues usually all great products

Customer service is excellent! I like the hatching time brooder, it’s easy to clean. Except the watering system. It’s not easy to disconnect the tank that holds the water, empty it or tend to it properly for cleaning. The tube comes off the side making you need to fill it more often. It should be in bottom. Buy an extra manure tray or two for ease of cleaning though. I would buy again!

Worked perfectly and nearly year round for two years. Just replaced it. Temp control works very well and allowed nearly 100 squabs to be hand fed, some as early as day of hatching. Very happy with brooder/heating element!

Glad to find we could convert one of the levels that didn't have heat to one that did.

I've had trouble with this heating element from the start. Customer service was wonderful but it still isn't working right. My babies are cold. Had to put a heat lamp on the outside of cage and they are huddled as close as they can get to the outside lamp and still the element is not heating the brooder up. Its 80 degrees in there and that is as hot as I can get.

My baby quail love this heater. I swear they look back and smile at me when I look at them. I ordered this as a replacement for "just in case".
