This model (GL25 / 9.5") is best suited for smaller game birds, such as quail, partridge and pheasants as they grow out. For larger breeds like chickens, we recommend using our larger pens (GL40 / 15").

Are these types of cages similar to brooders?

Yes, they are! However, they are meant for juvenile birds and do not come with a heat source. This design can be beneficial to help separate young and manure birds as well as free up space in your brooder for incoming chicks!

Do these come with dividable middle walls?

No they do not come with dividable middle walls. These models are designed to have an open floor plan.
