This replacement hose is for the external part of the watering system in your 9.5" brooder, 9.5" grow out pen and quail breeding pen. The thick black rubber design prevents the growth of algae and provides increased durability and longevity. This hose fits well on all of Hatching Time's PVC piping for nipple drinkers and cups.

This external hose was easy to install and matched my equipment perfectly.

It gave me flexibility in positioning and improved the overall hose setup.

Good to have

These are good to have if you need/want to rig up an "extra" space for the birds and set up a water system. I rigged up a spare temporary space to put the birds so that when I do my quarterly pressure washing of their 4 tier cage they have somewhere to be housed with a water system.

A quick fix

Needed some extra tubing to rearrange stack (brooders and cages have different length hose). Shipping was fast, tubing fit perfectly - no complaints!

External Hose

The hose is great, my only complaint is when I ordered 3 ft it came to me in three 1ft lengths instead of one 3ft piece that I thought I was getting as I had ordered 5ft before and received it in one length to cut as I needed.
I am able to make the 3 pieces work but was not what I thought I was getting
Other than that it is easy to work with, can be taken on and off for cleaning and the black color helps keep algae away.

There are also specific water hose replacement pieces that are cut to length based on the cage system.
