Amazing accessory to watering system

I have a really awesome rain water harvesting set-up on my chicken coops. The gutters flow directly into a large rain barrel, and then I drilled a hole to accept the water tank connector and water hose from Hatching Time to automatically gravity feed into a nipple water pipe into the coop. I NEVER have to refill the chicken coop waterer since it's completely automated. When I was doing some maintenance / moving around one time, I had to disconnect the water hose and experienced some leakage before I could quickly stop up the hose with and end plug. Then I added this water valve and I have complete flexibility and control to turn it off and on whenever I want without any leaking. This is the perfect solution to any water system you have when utilizing Hatching Time's incredible accessories!

GREAT ADD TO WATERERS

I ADDED THIS VALVE BETWEEN WATER TANK AND FIRST WATERER . THIS WAY IF YOU HAVE TO DRAIN THE SYSTEM YOU DON'T HAVE TO WASTE FULL WATER TANK. JUST DRAIN THE WATERES IF NEEDED TO DO MAINTENANCE OR CLEAN UP, AVOIDING LARGE WATER SPILEAGE. IT CAN BE ALSO USED AS DRAIN VALVE ON THE HOSE OUTLET END AFTER WATER PASS ALL WATERES
