best little tool for opening quail eggs!
We bought this equipment for our farm. I have to say it was a great investment. Our chick, ducklings and our keets look great. We have been getting more clean hatches than we have ever had.
Thank you
We expanded our quail business and these are fantastic. I love the new door handles. Highly recommend.
We are expanding our quail hobby farm and these brooders are fantastic. Keeps warm for the babies and I like the front feeder.
We raise a variety of poultry and they seem to get out of other popular stack brooders. The solution then is to put food and water inside but the mat defeats the purpose. With this brooder, the white grate over the food keeps my chicks in and the mess to a minimum. We brood Guinea keets, silver pheasants, English orphans, and turkey poults with this brooder.
We raise a variety of poultry and I was looking for something to brood turkey poults. They get tall quick and other popular stack brooders are just too short. The 15” brooder does the trick. I raise the waterer so they don’t perch and make it leak and the rest is history. We love this brooder.
I’m continuing to hatch geese and turkeys and now peachicks! I came back and ordered 8 more because these work great!
Perfectly fits on top of brooder. Helps lessen daily chores of filling water!
We purchased these to have on hand for replacement when needed. Very happy with the quality, ease of ordering, and shipping time. Thank you!
I've had this cage in place with quail in it for a few weeks now. The feeder is great. Had issues with the quail not understanding the "push up" nipples so I ordered the 360 degree nipples from HT and they IMMEDIATELY used them. I put a piece of PVC material (actually shower backing) on the back side of the cage to keep things contained a bit more. Took out all of the divider walls. I currently have a total of 15 quail per tier and feel that is the right number. They're still in there "tight" but not PACKED tight. I am wondering what people are doing about cleaning the cage. They've only been in for a few weeks and the **** is accummulating on the flooring...not so much where they walk but the underside above the **** tray. Would love to know if there is a way to clean it while they are still IN the cage....otherwise, where does someone put 60 birds while the entire cage is pressure washed? It stresses the birds out when they're moved which means they stop laying for a few days. I would also DEFINITELY invest in a few extra trays....prep one, remove the dirty one and quickly insert the prepped one. I line mine with newspaper and then a bit of sawdust to help dry the **** and then 3-4 quick sprays of pine-sol which flies HATE (plus it smells good). Repeat daily.
I’m so happy that it got here so fast and with everything ! Nothing was damaged it’s holding temp and humidity beautifully! I can’t wait to see what it hatches !
Fast shipping and packaging was very well done will be incubating quail eggs with this new product
I bought the 4 tier quail cage which came with water rods with nipples. However, the style that was included with the cage were "push UP only" and from one direction (directly underneath). I tried for FOUR days to get my quail to drink from them and it just wasn't working at all! They would peck at it from all angles EXCEPT directy underneat and got zero water. I knew they weren't getting any because there wasn't the standard drinking motion AND more than a 5-6 times a day I would go out and show them how to work it and they all ran to the water when I released it (if only 1-2 came then obviously the others weren't thrist but to have ALL of them run to get water meant NONE of them were getting water). Finally broke down and ordered these. You can push from left, right, back, front or underneat and it releases water. The minute they were installed all of my quail were successfully drinking from them and visually obtaining water. I have no idea why these don't come standard with the cages. (Hatching time suggestion.....add these as "standard" with the water rods) No learning curve needed.
We love this 4-tier tower. The optional jumbo floors on the website are convenient. We use the removable dividers often. Highly recommend this layer cage setup.
