from 5795 reviewsThe adjustable trays are worth considering if you're hatching chickens, ducks, and other poultry. Being able to accommodate different egg sizes without buying an entirely different incubator setup is a pretty good reason to consider this kit.
Automatic turning and humidity control take a lot of the repetitive work out of incubation. The temperature and humidity alarms are another welcome feature when you're dealing with hundreds of eggs at a time.
Having 500 eggs in the setter while another batch is hatching makes a lot of sense for anyone running regular hatches. No need to juggle two different stages in the same cabinet.
The customizable trays caught my attention. Not every hatchery works with chicken eggs exclusively, so being able to configure the machine for ducks, quail, or other birds is worth considering before investing in something this large.
When you're working with this many eggs, temperature and humidity alarms are definitely something you want. The automatic turning and humidity control are big selling points too. There's already enough to worry about during a hatch.
At this size, being able to roll the egg trays in and out is a huge plus. Having separate trolleys for setting and hatching also seems much better than dealing with hundreds of trays individually.
The 20-inch heating element and stainless steel construction are both appealing. I also appreciate that the temperature range is clearly listed, so you know what the heater is designed to handle before ordering.
The automatic temperature regulation is what stands out to me. When you're raising young chicks, having a heater designed for the brooder seems much better than trying to make a random heating setup work.
Being able to add a heater to a 9.5-inch grow-out pen is a pretty useful option. The automatic temperature regulation is a nice feature too, particularly when you're raising young chicks that still need supplemental heat.
A broken heater shouldn't mean having to replace the whole brooder. Good to see the heating unit available on its own, especially for anyone trying to keep an older setup running.
Chickens will find a way to sit on just about anything, so the sloped, lockable lid is a pretty clever detail. I also like the nipple drinkers with little drip cups underneath. Much better design than leaving an open water bucket in the yard.
Anyone who's tired of hauling water out to the chickens every day can appreciate an eight-gallon tank. The six drinking ports are a good touch too, especially when several birds decide they're thirsty at the same time.
The adjustable egg dividers are a nice feature if you're working with more than chicken eggs. Being able to accommodate quail, duck, turkey, and other poultry eggs makes this kit a flexible option for a growing hatchery.
Automatic egg turning, temperature control, and humidity regulation take care of several things that normally need constant attention. Having both cabinets equipped with their own controls is especially useful for managing larger batches.
Having a dedicated machine for each stage is a big advantage when you're hatching eggs regularly. With room for 700 chicken eggs in the setter and another 700 in the hatcher, there's plenty of capacity to work with.
